McBeth Recreation Center offers activities for children and adults with disabilities.There are a wide range of programs and classes from summer camps, cooking, and adaptive sports.The recreation center was named after Danny G. McBeth who was active in advocating for rights and services for the disabled community and has been in operation since February 1986. McBeth Recreation Center and Annex is located in Zilker Park. Activities are offered year round for children and adults through our after school explorers, spring break and summer day camps, and recreational day program for challenged adults. There are also ongoing evening classes such as cooking, sports, social games, outdoor activities, and creative arts.

For the more athletic participants, we offer adapted sports programs in tennis, swimming, cycling, basketball, rowing, dance and more.
